A lot of investors are starting to feel uncomfortable in the stock market. “The stock market has gone up so much already… could it really go higher? How much higher could it even go before the next crash?”

With low interest rates making it harder to get a decent return on your money outside of the stock market, investors are in a bit of a quandary.

The stock market has been on a wild ride for the last three decades. We’ve seen incredible bull markets and incredible busts.

My official line on this is that since I can’t predict the future, I will only recommend a portfolio strategy that is likely to both protect your money, and generate respectable returns, no matter what happens in the next 10 years.

The first key to implementing such a strategy is knowing how to safely use leverage.

The second key is using that leverage to diversify into new investment classes, without the hassle and risk of assets that are too unconventional.

And the third key? Taking a holistic look at your portfolio to make sure that it will serve you well in virtually any circumstance.
